A new leaf

Im turning over a new leaf in my life.  Ive had the desire to start fresh for a long time and ive realized that there is no better time than today.  So im going to start to keep a blog as a way to vent and to keep a “journal” without actually keeping one.  Im interested to see where ill be in a year and to be able to look back and read the entries I posted will be awesome.

Today I went for an interview for the new forever 21 that they are opening in the previous mervyns store. (needless to say, its going to be hugeee!) I was kind of nervous because ive never done the whole job searching thing before. I am still working at my first job (4years!) and I got the job by going in to eat and simply asked if they were hiring and he gave me a job, no interview no nothing. So when it comes to the real job hunting world, im kind of in the dark.  Im not good with the fake q&a’s at an interview. I think that everyone’s answers and smiles are sooo fake its annoying. So with that in mind I planned on just being straight forward with the interviewer and be confident about it.  And it went totally amazing! We were talking like we’d been friends for forever! (which totally calmed my nerves!) At the end of the interview she asked me back for a second one today at 2p.m.! so stoked! So I came back and with my luck it ended up being group interviews. SUCK! Now I was really nervous. The whole thing sucked. The questions that were asked were terrible and so were everyone’s answers. So I think I pretty much blew it. Ugh oh well.  I wonder if ill get it or not. Now the waiting game…
